My wife and I were first time home buyers as of September of 2017. The task of truly shopping around, understanding the market, and making such a big LONG term decision seemed overwhelming to say the least. Fortunately we were referred to Erin and her services by a friend and those stressful moments immediately became much easier. We looked at houses with Erin for about 6 weeks and patiently learned what we (ourselves) were looking for in a home. She helped us understand different aspects (pros and cons) of many different pieces of a home such as floor plans, pools, kitchens, appliances, etc. Throughout the process, she was very patient yet responsive when there was something we needed or even just a simple question we had. When I say I can go on-and-on about how great Kayla is, I mean it. As a 23 year old, you can imagine the process of buying a house can be pretty intimidating - paperwork, approvals, interest rates, appraisals, home inspections, etc. However, Kayla made the home-buying process easy, fun, and very rewarding. I sat down with Kayla to discuss buying a house, and by the end of the same day I had people on her team calling me to move the process along. This was great. There was no procrastination on her end, and I could tell her and everyone else she works with were really great people. Upon pre-approval, Kayla and I began searching for houses. I have to admit - there were so many locations in Phoenix with so many different price points, and I was slightly overwhelmed. Kayla quickly narrowed down locations by simply figuring out what my needs and style was, and what worked best with my budget. By the end of the second week of us looking (only two days of visiting properties) Kayla found the perfect home for me. Then came the paperwork. And the inspections. And the appraisal. Theres not enough characters in this box to describe how wonderful Ilene is at what she does. Ilene was so thorough it was unbelievable. From researching houses to look at the night before, to sending me updates throughout the entire process of making an offer, to having trusted companies to go to for things like the inspections. There was not one step that was missed or that I had to figure out On my own because she always had everything covered. She also always made time for me no matter what time it was or what day of the week it was. We could be up looking at houses at 7 in the morning. She sat on the phone with me at 9:30 pm to explain my contract to me. She came to my house at 9 pm a different night to meet with the notary to get my lease signed because of my work schedule.
