Description

Former Gila County Sheriff's Office. This parcel, which contains 300 feet along state highway 177 in the Town of Hayden, backs up to the Town Cemetary, along its entire section. This structure is one of two pieces in the land site, the other being a former mobile home that was used as a location for the distribution of ''state food stamps'' in the 1990's. A site drawing of this slump-block building, which was a former Sheriff's Office, is attached to this description and contains an Office for the Sheriff, a separate facility for a Secretary, a Meeting Room, a Reception section, four bathrooms with a toilet and sink and two regulation jail cells, with a small toilet and sink, with the cell doors having been removed when the facility was sold to the current owner. See Doc Tab.Additionally, there is a separate section of this building, which has an outside entrance and it's own half-bathroom, that was acting as an Office for a Dispatcher, and could now be easily remodeled into sleeping quarters. In addition, there is a walled and gated section to this building, measuring 25 by 25 feet, which supplied an outside section for parking of patrol cars, when this was being used as a Law administration facility. Parking for 18 cars exists in the front of this facility. The existing water and electric service serves both of the improvements on this property and the electric service could be separated for individual billing rentals, as desired. The main building on this site has had complete new roofing installed five years ago, along with a gently-used heating/refrigeration unit, which needs to be connected to the power source for full service.
